DENTAL LAMINATES

Laminates are fine porcelain veneering usually applied to the front teeth . It is one of the procedures which is performed with least loss of tooth tissue and satisfying results are obtained. Laminate veneering does not require to cut the tooth; thinning of 0.3 to 0.7 mm is done only onto the anterior surface. Then, tooth laminate is placed onto the thinned area through special glues. Laminates are needed for the teeth of which desired results are not obtained by whitening, for restoration of broken or deformed teeth, for combining separate teeth and correction of deformed fillings.

Dental laminate therapy may be applied to everyone who needs.. Spotting does not appear on the tooth surface due to smoking, coffee etc. after dental laminate therapy. Although laminates are thin, they have a strong structure.

COMPOSITE LAMINATE

Composite laminates are used to treat the spaces between the teeth and slight crowded teeth without damaging. It is performed within one session. They may be colored in time, and they should be regularly checked and polished.

PORCELAIN LAMINATE

These are porcelain leaves applied to correct the tooth color. Wells are prepared by corroding the anterior surfaces of the teeth by 0.3 to 0.5 mm and porcelain laminates are stuck onto such wells. Porcelain laminates are not colored. Their life is about 10 years.

ZIRCONIUM VENEERS

They are full porcelain veneers. Since the porcelain is processed on an infrastructure, color consistency and aesthetics are archived at maximum level. The black appearance reflecting onto the gingiva like in metal veneers do not appear. It does not cause any allergy.

METAL-SUPPORTED PORCELAIN VENEERS

They are veneers made of porcelain processed on a metal infrastructure. They are not difference from zirconium veneers functionally; however, zirconium veneers are superior aesthetically.
